Booking and deposits

A charter is confirmed when a deposit is received and the captain has confirmed the date and departure time. The balance is due on the day of the trip.

Cancellations

Cancel more than seven days before your trip and the deposit is refunded. Cancel within seven days and the deposit is not refunded, because the date was held for you and cannot reasonably be rebooked at short notice.

If the captain cancels for weather or safety, you are not charged and we will work with you to rebook.

Weather

Rain and cold are not grounds for cancellation. Wind and the marine forecast are. The captain makes that call and his decision is final, because it is a safety decision.

On board

Six anglers maximum on every trip. Alcohol is permitted for guests over 21, and the captain may end a trip at any time if he judges a guest's behavior unsafe. No refund is given in that case.

Please use the boat's gear rather than bringing your own rods. Loose personal tackle on a moving deck is a hazard.

Your catch

All fishing is subject to Florida and federal regulations, including seasons, size limits and bag limits. The captain decides what may be kept. We clean and bag your legal catch at the dock.

Liability

Fishing offshore carries inherent risk. Guests participate at their own risk and are asked to follow crew instructions at all times.
